Al fenómeno del rock en Argentina siempre se lo denominó Rock Nacional. Es algo que ya lleva aproximadamente unos cuarenta y cinco años ( cuesta quizás definir su fecha de nacimiento ) Y una pregunta que siempre se me ocurre es Cuales son los mejores grupos en todo ese tiempo ?
Aca ensayo MIS mejores grupos del rock nacional ( sin un orden determinado ). Te invito a que opines con el tuyo.
1) Manal: el trio de Javier Martinez, Claudio Gabis y Alejandro Medina supo como nadie interpretar el blues urbano con joyas como Avellaneda blues o Jugo de tomate frío.
2) Almendra: con Luis.A.Spinetta a la cabeza es otro pilar fundamental del rock argentino. Mucha poesía y clásicos inolvidables como Muchacha ojos de papel
3) El Reloj: grupo del desaparecido Willy Gardi, influenciado por Deep Purple. Excelente rock and roll.
4) Crucis: la encarnación del rock sinfónico en nuestro país. Montesano, Pino Marrone, Kerpel, Ferrugia,Fernandez,etc.
5) Seru Giran: los Beatles argentinos como alguien los denominó alguna vez. El genio de Charly Garcia sumado a David Lebon, Pedro Aznar ( Estos dos últimos a quienes tuve la fortuna de entrevistar ) y el inolvidable Negro Moro. Para quien escribe el mejor grupo del rock argentino.
6) Soda Stereo: el trio Cerati-Bossio-Alberti dominó diez años del rock nacional. Cuando pase el temblor…
7) Sumo: No, no me olvidé de Luca Prodan, personaje carismático por doquier. Le inyectó una dosis de energía al rock en una época alicaida. Tampoco me olvido de Pettinato, Mollo, Arnedo, Troglio, Daffunchio.
8) Virus: también los 80 fueron su época dorada, gracias a la casi enigmática figura del recordado Federico Moura.
9) Fricción: el grupo de Richard Coleman ( también lo integró Gustavo Cerati ), pese a que no fue una banda muy formal, dejó su sello en los 80.
10) Patricio Rey y sus redonditos de ricota: grupo que supo pasar del completo underground a las mas total popularidad. Para mi “Oktubre”, un album impresionante.
11) Pappo`s Blues y Riff: los coloco juntos por el factor común de Norberto Napolitano ( Pappo por si no lo sabías ), lo mejor del rock pesado argentino.
